Our ensemble

Bringing high-quality wind ensemble music to the Chesapeake Bay region, free and open to the community, performed by volunteer musicians of all backgrounds.

Founded in 1979 and now in our 47th season, the Chesapeake Bay Wind Ensemble has performed across Hampton Roads for over four decades.

The ensemble is led by a volunteer music director and supported by an elected board.
